1Size it for the house, not the old label
We count bathrooms, occupants and peak habits honestly. A bigger family in a Fields of Canterbury home needs different recovery than a couple in a Tollgate townhome. Oversizing wastes energy. Undersizing means cold showers, sooner or later. We explain the choice in gallons and recovery, not jargon.
2Plan the safe details
Before the old unit moves we confirm shutoffs, drainage, venting route on gas models, pan and drain provision, and expansion control. In finished spaces and upstairs closets these details are the difference between a contained fault and a ceiling claim later.
3Install, fill and commission
The new unit is set level, connected, filled fully before any heat is applied, and purged of air. We set and verify the delivery temperature and walk the system through a full heating cycle while checking every joint.
4Walkthrough and old unit away
We show you the shutoff, the relief valve and the drain, explain flushing in plain steps, and take the old unit and packaging with us. The area is left clean enough to cook in, even if it is a garage.
